STAKING

SCE regularly provides Staking services for a variety of projects for the construction of roads, railroads and buildings. From large to small projects, our surveyors are able to communicate directly with the site team to ensure the team is able to understand information provided and perform at their maximum best.

BLIS

SCE provided staking for this 5-acre parcel and historical site in the Bainbridge Island Ferry District, with property records dating back to the 1800’s.  The project consists of 107 apartment units, 18 townhomes, 7 live/work lofts, a one-acre park, two new public cross-street and frontage ROW dedications.

MARINA SQUARE

Staking services for Marina Square, an exciting new waterfront project under construction in downtown Bremerton. Plans include two 6-story towers above 3-levels of subterranean parking with 363 stalls. 

DOCKTON PILE

Our surveyors established site control, as-built survey of the existing dock piles and re-established as-built locations for pile replacements.

WYATT WAY

SCE staked this quarter-mile of urban arterial reconstruction including significant vertical profile adjustments, sidewalks, ADA ramps, utility relocations, storm drainage conveyance improvements and a mini-roundabout (RAB) at the intersection of  Madison Avenue on Bainbridge Island. Design plan interpretation and locating required grading information proved to be challenging. We made numerous office and field calculations and adjustments to meet and match existing  conditions on site. The project was completed in 2021 and operating level upgraded from Level D to Level A at the intersection where the RAB was installed.

SEATTLE PARKS DEPARTMENT ON-CALL

SCE won an on-call survey contract with the Seattle Parks Department to provide all aspects of land survey services as needed. We performed a greenbelt boundary survey, topographical surveys of city gardens and play areas, roadways and wetlands. Our contract was extended twice for additional one-year periods.

GROW CONDOMINIUMS

SCE managed the condo plat documents and provided staking including gridlines, garage columns, storm drainage, underground utilities, grading and hardscape for this multi-family development in the urban core of Bainbridge Island.

SOUND TRANSIT PUYALLUP STATION

The Puyallup Station Parking and Access Improvements Project (Project) will increase parking at Puyallup Station for riders, whether they arrive by walking, bicycling, transit, or driving. The Project includes construction of a new 500 space garage, a new surface parking with approximately 165 spaces, a new pedestrian bridge over 5th St NW and sidewalk enhancements. SCE provided control survey and exhibit for BNSF crossing.
